						Front Porch Inspections (Jed and Josh) recently inspected a property we are looking at purchasing. They were great to work with; very friendly and kept great open dialog going into and during the inspection. The documentation in their report was very thorough and the communication through their portal was a breeze. The sellers had listed that the roof was replaced in 2021 however during the inspection it was noted that the roof was 5-10 years old; turns out that the seller had the dates incorrect and the roof was actually replaced in 2018 making the roof 5-6 years old, not 3 years as we had understood. Not a deal breaker but worth noting that Jed and Josh's reports reflected accurately. Hands down would use their services again in the future and highly recommend them for their professionalism, accuracy, and ease of process.

						I can't recommend Jed and Josh enough. We recently bought a home and were a bit hurried to get the inspection scheduled. First, scheduling with Front Porch was both quick and easy. When I had a questions prior to their inspection, Jed answered the phone providing all the help I needed. The inspection itself was extremely thorough, and while the documentation (including photos & clear explanations of every detail) was more than enough, Jed and Josh were also extremely patient, walking us through many of the details and answered all our questions. They put the inspection report together as they work, so we had the full document right after they finished... very handy. If you need a home inspection, look no further. We not only got a full picture of our home's current state, but thanks to Jed and Josh, we also understand what to look for in terms of maintenance and future care.

						Jed was able to accommodate us on very short notice, and completed an inspection of an investment property professionally, completely, and non-disruptively to the current tenant. Furthermore, since we are geographically displaced from this property, the reports were sent to us almost immediately after the inspection. In addition to a standard house inspection, we required a radon test as well as a sewer scope. A detailed home inspection is the best insurance when purchasing real estate. Highly recommend using Front Porch Inspections.

						We cannot say enough good things about Jed! He was recommended by a friend, and we were super impressed by his thoroughness and detail. He really gave the condo his full professional attention. Happily, he also distinguished on the report between fixes that could be accomplished DIY and those that required a professional contractor, which helped us know where to focus our attention. Jed was so thorough that our Seller said he would consider using Jed for any future home purchases or selling, even though he was already very happy with his own inspector. Definitely 5 stars.
