Hopefully by now you’ve blown out your sprinklers, disconnected your hoses, and otherwise winterized your home, but have you thought about winterizing your whole-house fan? If not, you’re in good company!
A lot of heat can be lost through the un-insulated metal louvers of your whole-house fan, and it’s a good idea to cover and insulate it. You may be tempted to cut corners here, but please use more than a sleeping bag (as was found in a recent inspection)!
